All our timepieces draw their inspiration from the idea of sustainable living in our beautiful country of Denmark and the capital city, Copenhagen.

At Nordgreen, we offer three women’s 40mm watches – the Native, the Infinity, and the Philosopher. Focusing on these designs allows us to produce timepieces of exceptional quality, given the streamlined manufacturing processes we employ. Choose your style and customise it at will by changing up the watch cases, dials, and straps to suit any occasion or wardrobe, be it formal, sporty, smart casual or festive. All our watches are also durable with decent 3ATM water-resistance that’s perfect for everyday outdoor use.

This watch will perhaps grace the wrists of future generations who'll thank you for your investment. We use only premium-grade components to ensure that your watch stands the test of time and lasts for many years to come.

Our co-founders Vasilij Brandt and Pascar Sivam could only work with world-class, renowned Danish designer Jakob Wagner, to produce some of the best timepieces on the market.

Besides investing in an exquisite accessory, when you buy a Nordgreen watch, you are also investing in the well-being of lesser privileged societies and the future of our planet. A third of the revenues from one watch purchase goes to one of three worthy causes in our Giving Back Program:

  • A month's free education for one child in India with Pratham UK
  • Two months' clean water for a resident of the Central African Republic with Water for Good
  • The restoration of 200 square feet of Amazonian rainforest in Latin America with Cool Earth

These charitable giving programs are some of the core reasons why we established Nordgreen; as watchmakers par excellence, we're interested in style and design as much as sustainability. All donation costs factor into the price of the watch, and we have put in place mechanisms to help you track your donation on our website using the watch's serial number on the back of your watch casing.

Women’s 40mm Watches

If you’re a woman who is into understated, subtle, and minimalist watch designs, the Native women’s 40mm watches fit the bill.

As with all Nordgreen’s timepieces, the Native incorporates the Japanese Miyota Quartz movement into its mechanism, which is encased in a sturdy 316L stainless steel watch case. The casing has protruding lugs that connect to interchangeable quick-release straps, which make changing up watch straps a breeze.

Compared to the Philosopher and Infinity models, the Native has a slimmer grooved ring, which holds the cover of the watch face, emphasising its curvy, more rounded shape, giving this watch a softer, more feminine feel.

The Native watch designs are all about balance, living in harmony with nature, and appreciating and enjoying an unrestricted life free of the constraints of time. The lugs angle downward and subtly lift the watch case from your wrist in an elegant but understated way. The watch case also features an all-around polish and sheen that seamlessly blends in with the sapphire crystal and domed glass housing that sits on the dial.

This timepiece has curves that extend outward and beneath the slim profile, which then taper toward the centre. A contrasting spun-metal circular spot at the centre of the watch gives a comfortable base that sits effortlessly on your wrist.

Key features of the Native include:

  • 40mm case sizing with an option for 36mm, and 32mm in the Native Lille
  • 16mm, 18mm, and 20mm straps
  • 8mm, 7.5mm, and 8.3mm case thicknesses
  • Gold, silver, rose gold, or gunmetal colour cases
  • Interchangeable black, navy, or white dials
  • No second hands or date display on the dial
  • Softer watch hands with rounded tips
  • Italian leather, vegan leather, nylon, or stainless steel mesh straps in a variety of attractive colours

With a minimalist dial that omits both the second hand and date display, the Native comes in gold, rose gold, gunmetal, and silver watch case colours. This watch also has interchangeable straps in leather, vegan leather, stainless steel mesh, or as in the Native Boheme olive-green nylon straps.

The watch comes in a variety of attractive colours, including black, black croc, dark brown, grey, brown, pink, white, and navy for leather. Vegan leather straps also feature black, brown, dove-grey, and navy shades, and there’s a recent addition of black rubber straps to the collection.

Choose, too, from the interchangeable black, navy, and white minimalist dials, as well as rubber straps in addition to Italian leather, vegan, nylon, and stainless steel mesh straps for a truly customised look.

The Native is one of our softer, more refined women’s 40mm watches that are uncomplicated and harmonious. This timepiece will fit into your everyday life without being brash, but rather by being super comfortable, elegant, and understated, showing off the very tenets of pure Scandinavian design thought.

Complementing the Native, Nordgreen offers the Infinity timepiece for women. This watch proudly displays its real Scandinavian roots and artistry and displays beautiful minimalist and contemporary aesthetics that epitomise simplicity. 

By removing all complexities in the watch design, the Infinity only displays the essentials of its features:

  • 40mm case size, with an option of a 32mm watch case
  • Gold, rose gold, silver, and gold watch casings
  • A pared-down crisp dial
  • Tapered sides with a hidden lug design
  • Invisible minute marks on the dial with no date display
  • Durable Italian leather, vegan leather, or stainless steel mesh straps in a variety of attractive colours

The Infinity watch case is broader and more polished with watch hands that seem to slice through time continuously. This watch has elongated minute hands and hour markings, with invisible minute marks that only appear when they need to. It also features tapered sides and hidden lugs that feed seamlessly into the watch case.

The Japanese Miyota Quartz movement powers its mechanism at the core, providing both the convenience of operational continuity and the beauty of a striking visual. Choose watch case colours in gold, rose gold, or silver.

Interchangeable straps complete the look of this timepiece provided in Italian leather, vegan leather, rubber, nylon, or stainless steel mesh straps in a variety of colours including black, brown, dark brown, grey, navy, pink, or white for leather, and black, brown, dark grey, and navy for vegan leather. You may also opt for rose gold, gold, and silver stainless steel mesh straps.

Choose also the new black rubber straps and olive green nylon straps for a smart casual look.

Women’s Watches Less Than 40mm

When Nordgreen first launched, we wanted to envision a sustainable watch that would remind customers of the importance of their past, and also the importance of acting today for a better tomorrow.

The Philosopher timepiece part of Nordgreen’s women’s 40mm watches undoubtedly met all these requirements, beautifully displaying heritage, minimalism, balance, function, and sustainability. 

Key features of the Philosopher include:

  • 40mm case size, with an option for a 36mm watch case
  • 2mm and 7.8mm case thicknesses
  • 18mm or 20mm straps
  • Crisp white minimalist dial with an asymmetric second watch hand
  • Gold, rose gold, gunmetal, or silver, colour watch cases
  • Exquisite, feature-packed dial with both hour and minute hands as well as a date display
  • Well-proportioned housing with protruding lugs and grooved outer case
  • Durable Italian leather, vegan leather, nylon, or stainless steel mesh straps in a variety of attractive colours
  • A new 36mm and 40mm Philosopher Boheme design with silver or rose-gold watch casing and olive green nylon straps

The white-only dial on the Philosopher is not interchangeable, as is the case with other Nordgreen models. The watch case has a sharp tapered edge that surrounds a dial with an asymmetric second hand. As is standard with all our watches, the Philosopher is also powered by the Japanese Miyota Quartz movement, which gives the watch its pin-point accuracy and durability.

These classic timepieces feature a lug width of 20mm and a lug-lug distance of 39.5mm and a brushed silver finish. Despite their feature-packed design, they are also feather-light.

Choose from rose gold, gold, silver, or gunmetal watch case colours, and, depending on how slim you like your watch, case thicknesses of 7.2mm and 7.8mm.

The Philosopher has interchangeable 18mm or 20mm straps that come in real Italian leather, vegan leather, nylon, or stainless steel mesh options. Should one strap wear out, replace it effortlessly with your band of choice with the quick-release mechanism and the straps’ quick-release pins.

Choose from black, dark brown, brown, pink, patina-grey, white, and navy blue for the leather options, olive green or navy blue for nylon straps, and black, brown, navy blue, or dove grey for vegan leather straps. You may also opt for gold, rose gold, silver, or gunmetal stainless steel mesh straps for your Christmas watch.
