Nordgreen’s modern watches for women come in four designs – the Native and Native Lille, the Philosopher, the Infinity, and the Unika. Our co-founders, Vasilij Brandt and Pascar Sivam, worked with renowned Danish designer Jakob Wagner to produce unique pieces inspired by Scandinavian living and values, evoking lessons of the past to our thinking about the future.
The Native and the Native Lille timepieces for women are all about balance in nature and life, thus keeping to the wisdom-filled Danish philosophy of hygge. As Danes, we practice 'hygge' to live a fulfilled, complete, balanced life full of contentment and purpose. This philosophy guides us at Nordgreen and what we aim to share in the design of our women's watches.
You can opt for the Native, or Native Lille watches in three distinct thicknesses – 6.8mm, 7.5mm, and 8.35mm – depending on how slim you like your watch.
We launched the Native watch line in 2018. But, in 2019, we saw fit to offer variations with our Remodelled Native design pack. The Native comes in 36mm and 40mm sizes, while the Native Lille serves up a smaller 32mm for women who prefer a slimmer model.
The rounded watch case results in a unique design that is the epitome of modern living. The hour and minute hands are powered by the Japanese quartz movement that produces a consistent flow and an accurate telling of time. Our designer omitted the second hand on this watch to maintain a simple, understated watch that keeps to the design philosophy of paring down to the bare essentials.
All Native watches feature interchangeable dials in black, navy blue, and crisp white, plus invisible minute marks that appear only when you need them. The Native also is sans lugs (where the strap fits) to stress the back-to-basics philosophy.
Choose from 316L stainless-steel casings in gold, rose-gold, gunmetal, or silver and interchangeable stainless-steel mesh straps in the same colours. A new addition to the collection is a silver or rose-gold/Boheme nylon strap watch for the 40mm model.
This watch is also water-resistant up to 3ATM (3 meters), making it perfect for everyday use. Be sure to keep it out of direct contact with water, but it is ok to wear when walking, running, hiking, jogging, or cycling.
Women's Modern Watches
Should you prefer a watch with a bit more personality, you might opt for Nordgreen’s Philosopher – a watch that captures the value of the past and transfers them to creating a better future.
This 8mm conical timepiece is quintessentially Danish, as it displays that minimalist and exquisite Scandinavian design with rounded lines and punctuated lugs.
This slim watch has a lug-to-lug distance of 39.5mm, purposely wider than the 20mm casing diameter. It also features high-quality horizontal brushing on the side of the stainless-steel casing that steps up its design features and quality.
This watch serves up a bit more detail than the Native and Infinity models, as the hours and minutes are prominently marked on the tapering white-only dial. The date function also appears on the watch face. The Philosopher features a conical-shaped casing with a broader base than face, creating a sharp two-piece dial that draws your eye to the centre of the timepiece.
It comes in two convenient sizes for women – 36mm and 40mm – and features an asymmetric second hand, in addition to the hour and minute hands. All hands are powered by Japanese quartz movement that yields an accurate telling of time. These watches are also incredibly light and 3ATM water-resistant, perfect for everyday outdoor use.
The Philosopher also features interchangeable watch casings that come in feminine and neutral colours, including gold, silver, rose-gold, and gunmetal, plus interchangeable straps made from nylon, premium Italian leather, or premium-grade stainless-steel mesh.
Choose a leather strap that is black, dark brown, navy blue, brown, or patina grey; a mesh strap in gold, rose-gold, silver, or gunmetal; or a nylon strap in green or navy blue. A new addition to the collection is a silver or rose-gold/Boheme nylon strap in the 36mm and 40mm designs.
The 32mm Infinity watch for women is 8mm thick, making it sophisticated and practical. It distinguishes itself with a face that curves sharply at the edges, removing all complexity from the design. This curve makes the watch hands more visible in low-light conditions.
The Infinity does not have any lugs, delivering clean, smooth, and rounded lines. Its inspiration comes from Mother Nature, exuding the pure simplicity and functionality at her core.
The face on this beauty doesn’t feature the date, and the second hand is also absent in honour of minimalism. The hour and minute hands are powered by the Japanese crystal-quartz movement that delivers accurate time.
Choose from three effeminate casing colours, including silver, rose-gold, and gold. Interchangeable straps feature leather, mesh, or nylon. Choose from black, brown, dark brown, grey, navy blue, pink, or white Italian leather straps, or opt for gold, rose-gold, or silver stainless-steel mesh straps.
A new addition to the Infinity collection is a silver or rose-gold/Boheme nylon watch strap in the 36mm and 40mm models.
As are all Nordgreen models, this watch is also water-resistant up to 3 meters, making it perfect for outdoor use in almost any weather.
