Nordgreen was lucky to partner with Jakob Wagner in creating its line of classic timepieces. Wagner is one of the leading designers in Europe, and his work hits home because it exudes classic beauty and sophistication.
Wearing one of the watches that Wagner designed says, "I've got exquisite taste." It shows that you care about your appearance but are also confident in your style. There's no flashy designer watch out there that can convey the same aura of confident sophistication.
Wagner’s inspiration for the range was the Scandinavian principle of hygge (pronounced hoog-uh). To boil this down into simple terms, this means living more simply. It means enjoying life more by making it less complicated.

We also realised that nothing but the best would do. That’s why we use Miyota movements. This Japanese company has perfected the art of internal watch mechanisms. Other big brands like Citizen use them because they are the best in the world.
Out next step was to source the "cosmetic" aspects of the models - things like the straps, for example. We opted for several varieties of straps to give our clients a more extensive range of choices. You'll find:

High-grade stainless-steel: Our fine mesh steel straps look deceptively delicate. Choose from four exciting tones – gunmetal, gold, rose-gold, and silver.

Leather: We source our leather from some of the finest producers in Italy. It’s buttery soft, pliable, and easy to maintain.

Vegan leather: If you’d prefer not to use real leather, this vegan leather is ideal. It’s plant-based and 100% vegan. It looks very similar to the real thing, without the ethical implications.

Rubber: If you’re very active, you might prefer a rubber strap. It handles well, won’t be affected by moisture, and doesn’t conduct heat.

Nylon: Nylon is another casual alternative that can handle heat and moisture well.
Now, considering the high-grade materials that we use, we must have made compromises somewhere, right? Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to offer you this great price. So, where'd we cut corners? Nowhere. What we cut instead were all the bells and whistles.
You won't find diamond-encrusted dials or extra features like timers or other add-ons. Our chronograph is the most advanced model we offer. Even there, the features are limited to a stopwatch and counting the seconds.
